Greetings! What a thrill it is to join the staff and community here at Goolsby!
I was born and raised in Ohio with four brothers and lots of pets. Exploring the outdoors and reading were my favorite activities as a child, and these have remained with me as an adult. It is fortunate that there is no cure for curiosity!
I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees in special education and general education from Bowling Green University. My administrative credential was earned here in Nevada. Education has always been my passion and has been my career for 28 years. I’ve taught grades K-12 as well as university students and G.E.D. classes. I have been an administrator for 10 years.
Underlying my love of teaching is the belief in the unlimited potential of all people. Our students need to develop a wide variety of skills and knowledge so they can nurture their gifts and determine their direction. Their future is certainly exciting, and it is an honor to be a part of that journey. I look forward to a wonder-filled year!
